Renesas Electronics Corporation is a Japanese semiconductor manufacturer headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, initially incorporated in 2002 as Renesas Technology, the consolidated entity of the semiconductor units of Hitachi and Mitsubishi. Renesas Electronics started operation in April 2010, through the integration of NEC Electronics. As of 2014, it was the world's largest automotive semiconductor maker, and the world's largest maker of microcontrollers. The company also has presences in the markets of analogue and mixed-signal integrated circuits, memory devices, and SoCs. 

Now Intersil, Dialog, Adesto, IDT are part of Renesas Electronics.

Renesas Culture

We developed the Renesas Culture in 2020, a mindset or a guideline of conduct that should be shared across the Renesas Group and all our employees. The guideline acts as the reference point for all our activities, behavior and decision-making, and consists of five elements: "Transparent, Agile, Global, Innovative, Entrepreneurial." The leadership team's strategy and policy, the company’s current situation, as well as the issues and thoughts of each business organization should be well understood among employees.
